6th AFRICA MOVIE ACEDEMY AWARD
The Africa Movie Acedemy Award (AMAA) is a platform for gathering the biggest movie makers across Africa continent and the Diaspora. AMAA has since 2004 pulled together a phenomenal list of talented actors, directors and films from around Africa that has made tremedious impact on the continent and in the Diaspora.
AMAA which is equivalent to Oscars in the United States will be held on Aprial 10 2010 in Bayelsa (Nigeria) and will be televised across the world.
Categories in which nominees will be awarded include the following: Best Documentary (short subject), Best Documentary (feature), Best Animation, Best Short Film, AMAA Achievement in Sound, AMAA Achievement in Editing, AMAA Achievement in Art Direction, AMAA Achievement in Visual Effect, AMAA Achievement in Cinematography, AMAA Achievement in Constume, Achievement in Makeup, Best Original in Soundtrack, Most Promising Actor, Most Promising Actress, Best Performance by a Child Actor, Best

Colourfull Nigeria Festivals to keep a Date with.
Thinking of visiting Nigeria, for business or pleasure, any time some? or just simply curious? Whatever the case, here is suggestion of few very colourfull festival that can add so much colour and flavour to your visit.
- EYO FESTIVAL: Eko people of Lagos holds annually and usually culminates in the display of masquerades adorned resplendently in white flowing dresses and hats to match.
- KWA-GHIR FESTIVAL: A festival of the Tiv people in Benue state of Nigeria, it is a display of traditional masquerades, puppet theater, some forms of acrobatics, dancing, music and sartorial display. A colourful festival indeed, it attracts many people and is accentuated by the friendliness and warm welcome of the Tiv people of Nigeria.

- Ikogosi Warm Springs – this is a natural warm spring that flows and mixes with cold water issuing from another spring. This place attracts tourists from all over the world.

The African Chicken Stew
Hi everybody, this is a fabulous Africa recipe
i will like to share with you. Its the Africa chicken stew. It will not be a bad idea to try it out someday.
Ingredients
2 cloves of crushed garlic
1 chopped onion
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Roasting chicken, deboned and cut into bite size piece
1 teaspoon grounded black pepper
1 large diced potato
1 teaspon grounded cumin
1 teaspoon grounded coriander seed
